Qlive Pulse
Know it's working, every few weeks, not at the end of term
Pulse is Qlive's assessment system. It starts with a free diagnostic that finds your child's real gaps, then keeps checking, week by week, so the plan changes the moment something isn't landing.

Where it starts to slip
Negative numbers and ratio rest on fraction sense from Grade 4 and 5. Fix that first and both open up.
Recommended teacher: CBSE maths, speaks Malayalam, free on weekday evenings Gulf time.
A steady rhythm of checking
Most children are only properly tested twice a year. With Pulse, your child's teacher sees a fresh picture every few weeks and adjusts.
-
Before classes begin
Start: the diagnostic
An adaptive assessment, guided live by a counsellor, that finds the exact topics where understanding stops. It sets the plan and the starting line.
-
Every week
Practice: classwork and worksheets
Set by the teacher and Qlive's academic team to match what was taught. Screen questions are marked instantly; written working is photographed and marked by hand.
-
Every 2 to 3 weeks
Rhythm: checkpoints
A short timed test on recent topics, done on camera so the result is your child's own. Gaps show up in weeks, not at the end of term.
-
For some programmes
Formal: term exams
Exam-style papers built only from chapters already covered, for example CBSE Grade 9 and 10 Maths and Science, at no extra cost.
Example: checkpoints in maths, one term
Illustrative
Real marking, by people who know your child
Your child works on paper the way they will in a school exam, then photographs the page. Their teacher or Qlive's academic team marks it, writes comments where the thinking went wrong, and sends a question back to try again when that will teach more than a red cross.
Every mistake becomes information. A dropped minus sign in three questions becomes a five-minute routine at the start of next class; a whole topic that slips becomes part of the plan.
- Work set by the teacher and Qlive's academic team
- Written feedback, not just a score
- Marked-up sheets your child can learn from
- A notice in the Qlive Learn app when work is marked
Every answer shapes the next class
-
Your child answers
"x = 17/3"
Brackets not multiplied out
-
Qlive marks it
Sent back to retry
With a hint, not the answer
-
Next class
Brackets, 5 minutes
Then on with the chapter
About Qlive Pulse
Every Qlive journey starts with the free Pulse diagnostic.
Book the free diagnosticIs Pulse a separate thing I pay for?
No. Pulse is part of every Qlive programme. The first diagnostic is free for every family, and the worksheets, checkpoints and marking come with classes.
Why are checkpoints recorded on camera?
So the result is genuinely your child's. A checkpoint is only useful if it shows what your child can do alone, and that is what the teacher plans the next classes around.
Who sets and marks the work?
Your child's teacher and Qlive's academic team both set work. Questions answered on screen are marked automatically; written answers are photographed and marked by the teacher or the academic team, with comments, and sometimes sent back for another try.
How do I see the results?
You are told in the Qlive Learn app when work is assigned and when it has been marked, and your Student Success Partner talks you through how things are going.
